Home!

Steve went to Connecticut last weekend to help design a clothing catalogue. He enjoyed Connecticut and had a great time, but as he was driving back and approaching Boston he thought, "I can't wait to get home!" It is such a great feeling to be home after a trip...right!? If you would have asked Steve or I a couple of months ago...we would have never considered Boston as our "home". But now I couldn't think of a better place to live, nor a more perfect time in our lives to be here.
These are some of the reasons why we love our new home

1. Our ward
95% are young married couples and they are all amazing! A lot have young children-I would give anything to be the kind of mother that so many of them are.

2. Walking
We never use our car anymore! Good way to loose some pounds.

3. There are squirrels everywhere in our neighborhood!
Every time I see one I think of Rat Race..."I shooouuuuulllld haaave boouuuuggghhtt a squuuirrrl!!!"

4.
Small Army
Steve is getting a taste of his "dream job"! He is freelancing for Small Army...an ad agency. We are praying that he gets on full time there.

5. We have Poo Berries
I have no idea what type of berry it is...but when stepped on and crushed they smell like poo. They are all over the ground. Gross..I know!

6. We are Nursery Teachers
It was our first day today. I thought I would walk out of there thinking, "This is the best birth control ever", but I want kids more than ever now.

7. Our apartment
The inside is ghetto. The landlord doesn't care too much about the upkeep of it. No worries...we are going to take full advantage. Steve is going to paint a Murial of us on our hallway wall!...I'm serious.

8.We are unique... we are Mormons!
So many missionary opportunities! Not only that...but opportunities for our testimonies to grow.

9. The Bakery
We have the best little baker around the corner. Almond macaroons to die for!

10. I love my classmates
My new favoritest person is from India. Schruthi is a classmate of mine and we can't sit a second without laughing our heads off...feel like I'm in high school again. It's the best to mingle with people from Saudi Arabia, China, Greece, Spain...and I could go on.

11. The Food!
That's all I have to say.

12. Head of my Department
He cares about every student...INDIVIDUALLY. He is an entertaining teacher.

13. The best husband ever
To share amazing experiences with.

14. Everything is so close by
DC, Manhattan, Upstate New York, and beautiful quaint coastal cities
