Our Arrival

After six days on the road we finally arrived. Yesterday was our first day here and it wasn't what we were expecting. Before we came a lot of people told us that it was going to be a shock but we both just kind of brushed it off...and yes...we were shocked and even a little discouraged. Boston is so different from St. George! It will take a bit to get used to. We viewed a few apartments yesterday and were pretty disappointed. The area was called Brighton and seemed to have a "party" atmosphere. After praying that night...and family praying for us...we had a great day today. The ward that we went to was overwhelmingly warm and friendly. The counselor that was conducting was a native African American. He was a hoot...cracking jokes the whole time. There were also two young couples that invited us to dinner for this week. Another girl in relief society also told me that we could stay at her house until we find a place if we wanted. These little acts of kindness made such a difference! The Lord answers prayers! Tomorrow we are going to see some places in a nice "family" neighborhood. Wish us the best:) Thanks fam for praying for us and giving us words of encouragement. We love you guys!
