Boston is so expensive! We just paid bills...and I want to cry now. So I won't write about what makes Boston so expensive or I really might start to cry.
So I'll write about something happy...The subway in Boston. Those of you that have ever been on the subway here (specifically the Green B line), are probably wondering how on earth it could be a happy place! It's a happy place because there is usually always something entertaining(in kind of a freaky way) going on within the cramped overcrowded doors of the trains. A couple of days ago I was riding into town. After the train pulled up I hurriedly got in and tried to search for a seat...getting a seat is usually a rare happening on the B line. I actually got one! And it was in the perfect place....a front row seat for the show that I was about to see. Let me describe my entertainer for that ride. He was a male, probably in his late thirties. He was wearing fairly short shorts and long socks that went up to his knees. His ear phones were ginormous! To add to his lovely ear phones, he had a rainbow patch pasted onto both sides of the ear pieces. Now for the best part...his over sized rainbow belt! He was completely in his own world. I call him the RAINBOW DANCER. He was full out dancing the whole time...and this wasn't a short ride! I would say about 30 minutes. He would wildly throw his arms up into the air, do his little butt shakes and constant shifting back and forth. He had some dance moves that I didn't know existed! It was hilarious! Not only watching him was entertaining, but also watching how everybody else around him was reacting. People would try not to stare, but they were obviously watching his every move from out of the corner of their eyes. The best part was that he was completely serious. I can see a teenager (or me) doing this as a practical joke...but this was no joke for him! I'm sure glad that my handy dandy phone has a camcorder...this footage is priceless!

this is classic T behavior.... prepare yourself for many many more hours of entertainment thanks to the T.... oh how I miss the crazies. haha. Good luck with the expensive bills. That is one thing I never got used to. It only gets worse in the winter. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good post. Weirdos!! Sorry about the bills. I think our bills are high here so I would probably cry too if they were as high as yours. Hope you guys are doing good. We'll have to call you on Skype again when Eddy can be there-that was fun to see you guys.
ReplyDeleteI hope you know how happy that post made me! I loved it! I was laughing out loud and I know everyone around me at work was so uncomfortable, but that is only something that would happen to you! I MISS YOU~!
