It was Steve’s birthday on Wednesday. He is the big 27! I can’t believe I am married to such an old man! I guess I am right there behind him. It is okay that he is an old man because I love him, I love his quirky jokes, I love how he makes me happy, I love how he was willing and glad to quit a job he enjoyed to let me pursue my education, I love how we teach nursery together and every week I get to see what a great Daddy he will be, and I love how his testimony of the Gospel strengthens mine. Okay, I’ll stop right there before you decide to close out this page.
Since we have lived in Boston we have had a few major shocks. Just to name a few…not everybody in the neighborhood is Republican, driving down the road is like driving in complete chaos, and obsession of sports is the norm. Our most recent shock…ants in Winchester are GINORMOUS! Take a look at the photo. I no longer worry about getting bitten by a spider, stung by a bee, or even attacked by a liger (k..don’t really worry about ligers)…I am now in complete fear of ants! I really think I am going to wake up in the middle of the night to a Goliath ant carrying me off to store me away for its winter feast.
Ewe those ants would freak me too! and if it makes you feel better Jeff is turning 32 this year - he'll always be old compared to me but I don't mind it makes me feel young!
ReplyDeleteHey Anniebell,
